Timely Ebola Virus Disease information for preparedness, early detection, reporting, and response coordination.
About EVD
Ebola Virus Disease is a severe illness that can affect people and other primates. It spreads through direct contact with blood or body fluids of a person who is sick with or has died from Ebola, or through contaminated items such as needles, bedding, or medical equipment.
Kenya remains alert because of regional movement across borders. Preparedness depends on fast reporting, surveillance, infection prevention, laboratory confirmation, contact tracing, and clear public communication.

Sore throat, joint pain, abdominal pain, or general body discomfort.
